Canicross en foret de Bouconne du CCAC

The CCAC is happy to welcome you back for a fourth edition of Canicross in the Bouconne forest on the weekend of November 16 & 17, 2024.

On Saturday, we will once again be offering you an orienteering race to do with your furry friend(s), starting at 2 p.m.

A team of two humans accompanied by at least one dog will go in search of beacons. We will ask you for a participation of 10 euros per team, the funds of which will be donated to the animal protection association AnimÔ 31.

We will therefore meet you from 1:15 p.m. for registrations, distribution of cards and explanations!

On Sunday, a nice surprise awaits you: a new 100% path route and a new organization!

Indeed, to spice up the day, we first offer you a small sprint on a course of less than 2km. You will leave a little later on a completely new 6.5km course according to the orders and the arrival gaps of the first course!

Schedules (may be adjusted in the coming weeks):

7:15 a.m.: bib distribution

8 a.m.: briefing

8:30 a.m.: start of the canivtt sprint

9 a.m.: canicross sprint start

9:45 a.m.: children's races

11 a.m.: start of canivtt pursuit

11:45 a.m.: start of canicross pursuit

2 p.m.: Awards ceremony

Some of the paths we will be taking are private and are only allowed on the day of the race, so we will not communicate the routes beforehand.

The course reconnaissance, which is obligatory for mountain bikers and highly recommended for cross-country riders, will be possible from Saturday afternoon.

Mountain bikers will have access to a water point to clean their bikes after the race.

Reminder: Vaccinations must be up to date to participate (CHP, Rabies and kennel cough).
