Canicross du Bois de la Flachère

The CTNI has joined forces with the Canicross des Monts to organize a canitrott, canivtt, canicross and canienfant race in the Lyon region.

A course of approximately 4 km, accessible to all levels, will be done on a magnificent and protected place, the Forest of Flachère . It will mix forest track and trail. Natural and artificial water points (if necessary) will be placed along the route. The site will be signposted but will not be closed to the public (one of the conditions for having the right to use the place).

A car park will be at your disposal.

Attention CHPPiL + TC + rabies vaccines compulsory for all dogs on the site . Controls will be carried out.

A refreshment bar / snack will be available at the arrival / departure area.

Don't forget that the registration deadline is September 19: no more registrations possible after this date, and unpaid registrations are not valid! It is also compulsory to provide all supporting documents in order to facilitate the withdrawal of the bib. As a reminder, the number of registrants is limited to 100 due to current health causes.

9:15 am: canivtt departure: every 30 sec
10:30 am canicross start: every 20 sec
12 noon: departure for child 2 every 20 sec
1:30 p.m .: awards ceremony

BIB WITHDRAWAL:
- a control of the material is carried out for the unlicensed
- a veto check (chip check) is carried out for all competitors when the bib is collected. No dog will be allowed to take the start without the required vaccines.

COVID INFO:

We have very good news for you: we have received authorization from the town hall to keep the competition going!

However, this comes at the cost of several efforts:

- Mask compulsory for all (volunteers and runners, until the start and then immediately at the finish line). Participants will need to come with their own mask.
- The veterinary control will be carried out randomly in the car park to avoid waiting for the bib collection. Only complete files are accepted to facilitate withdrawals. No registrations on site. Mask compulsory for withdrawal.
- No race briefing: it will be sent by email to avoid gatherings with the rules and the runner's charter
- small bar with only packaged products and nothing homemade, bar in drive mode: do not stay to eat there but go to your car. Payment in contactless cb only and always obligatory mask.
- Hydro-alcoholic gel available, regular sanitation of sanitary facilities.
- We shortened the route to 4km (compared to 6 in previous years) in order to make the route fluid and also to limit the number of volunteers needed.
- For the starting area there will be airlock with distances of 1.50m between each competitor. You will need to wear the mask for up to 30sec before your departure.
- No supplies on arrival to limit waterlogging (just water for dogs)
- Between the car park and the race zone, verification of the wearing of the mask + disinfection with hydroalcoholic hand gel
- We strongly encourage you to download and use the “StopCovid” application before coming to the event
- The rankings will be put online but not displayed to avoid gatherings.
- We will only reward the first 3 scratches who will collect their lot at a given time to avoid gatherings.
- Reduction to 100 participants instead of 150 in previous years to keep more spaces between people.
- Maintenance of a clearly identifiable Covid-19 watch cell for 14 days post-race.
- Obviously it is strictly forbidden to come if you have the slightest symptom or have been in contact with a case.

You can imagine that the gel, the masks for the volunteers, the restriction of the refreshment bar and the number of participants, all this has a cost… We have always made sure to offer a prize to each person when collecting their bib but we are not sure we will be able to maintain this habit for the Flachère canicross this year ... Do not blame us if exceptionally this year there is not a lot for everyone!

In addition, we engage our responsibility by deciding to maintain this competition. It will cost a lot of effort on our part, but above all on your part. We will be uncompromising on respecting the rules. Any breach may result in elimination. We know: these rules are binding and not funny at all, and far from the values of friendliness of canicross that we love so much. If you no longer wish to participate, you are free to unsubscribe. You will be fully refunded if you do so before 09/19/2020 23:59. If you decide to register, you agree to apply all of these rules.
