About

The CTNI is pleased to present the 3rd edition of the Canicross du Grand Parc. The competition will take place over 2 days this year: Sunday April 1 and Monday April 2. Enough to eliminate Easter chocolates!

In the magnificent setting of the Grand Parc de Miribel-Jonage (and Lyon ), we will offer you 2 routes that are sufficiently technical and at the same time accessible so that everyone, beginners and experienced, can have fun.
The Sunday course will be 5km for canicross, canivtt and trotting . There will also be children's races . In the evening there will be a disguised relay .
Monday's route will be the same for trotting and mountain biking , and will be 8.5 km for canicrossers . There will also be children's races .

AWARDS AND GOLDEN DOG:
Each day counts individually for the golden dogs, but the rewards will take place at the cumulative of the 2 days. The following will be rewarded: the first 3 scratch and the first in each category.

For the relay, the rewards will go to the fastest team as well as to the team with the best disguise.

SELECTIVE ICF 2018:

Sunday is selective for the 2018 ICF Worlds which will take place in October in Poland. more info on the fslc website.

12:30 canicross briefing

1 p.m. canicross start (5km)

2 p.m .: mountain bike / trotting briefing

2.30 p.m .: mountain bike departure (5km)

3.30 p.m .: start trotting (5km)

4 p.m. departure child (1 and 2km)

5 p.m .: disguised relay (2x1km: 1 mountain bike + 1 canicross). -> Mountain bike from Juneor category and canicross from child category 1

MONDAY :

8h briefing canivtt / trot

8:30 am: start trotting (5km)

9am: mountain bike departure (5km)

10am: canicross briefing

10:30 am: Canicross start (8km)

12h: departure for children (1 and 2km)

2 p.m .: awards ceremony

Regulations:

The regulations applied are those of the FSLC, in accordance with the RTS of the delegated federation. Canicross is open to dogs from 12 months old, while canivtt and canitrottinette are from 18 months old.

Some essential rules to follow:
- the dog must be equipped with a traction harness and always attached

- the dog must always run in front of his master

- it is forbidden to shoot or mistreat your dog

- don't forget to pick up your dog's leftovers

The organization reserves the right to refuse the participation of certain competitors who may disrupt the smooth running of the competition.
The organizers are covered by an insurance policy. Participants benefit from the guarantees granted by the FSLC insurance, thanks to their 2018 license or the day license. Competitors must be personally insured against the risk of physical attack and against the acts of the dog that they have in their custody during the duration of the event (civil liability).
